Welcome to Hendre Mynach

Hendre Mynach is family and couples friendly camp site for touring caravans and tents. We are just 100 metres from Barmouth Beach in North West Wales, on the new 'Wales Coast Path' and cycle route 8.

A main train line from the Midlands runs through to Barmouth on a regular basis. The A496 road serves Hendre Mynach Caravan Park, and pedestrians can walk from our site directly onto Barmouth Promenade.

Responsible dog owners and happy hounds are welcome here. Barmouth is a dog-friendly town and the beach has a large dog excercise zone. Many of the establishments in town allow dogs, which makes for a more relaxed holiday for canines and their companions.

The stunning hills around Barmouth offer breathtaking views; a photographer's paradise. There are plenty of walks to enjoy, from the gentle, level strolls along the promenade and all the way to Dolgellau on the old railway line, to more challenging climbs including the famous Cadair Idris, and many lesser trodden trails amongst wooded glades and sandy beaches.

Camping

You’ll be glad to know that most of our pitches are lovely and level.  We offer camping with & without electric hook-up.  (Hook-ups are 10 amps).  Water is available on all pitches, and showers are free of charge. Hairdryer/straightener points and shaver points are available in the shower blocks.  We have dishwashing facilities, a launderette, baby change facilities with baby bath and a children’s playpark on our 5* site. 

Special rates are available for backpackers / single occupancy & during low season.  Ask when you book for details.  Friendly bikers welcomed.
Booking essential during peak season on electric hook-up pitches.
Non-electric pitches are not bookable: simply turn up, check in and choose your own spot!

We have a shop with cafe/takeaway on site. Calor Gas & WiFi are available to buy from reception.  Our helpful, friendly staff live on-site and are available 24hrs.  For your added security, our site is covered by cctv.
